Former Army Commander and high-profile Liberal MP to provide senior leadership at Bluesky Strategy Group.
OTTAWA, ON – Bluesky Strategy Group, Ottawa’s leading public affairs firm, is pleased to announce that Lt.-Gen. (Ret’d.), the Hon. Andrew Leslie has joined their team as a Senior Associate.

Andrew joins Bluesky Strategy Group after a decorated 35-year career with the Canadian Armed Forces, which includes international peacekeeping and combat tours (including the most recent Afghan war) with both the UN and NATO, as well as helping Canadians at home with floods, forest fires and the 1998 ice storm, culminating as the Commander and CEO of the Canadian Army. He was also co-chair of the Liberal International Affairs Council of Advisors and was elected as the Liberal Member of Parliament for the riding of Orléans, in 2015. During his time on Parliament Hill, Leslie also served as the Chief Government Whip and then Parliamentary Secretary focused on the Canada-U.S. relationship, interacting with business leaders and elected officials at federal and state levels and establishing Canada’s place in the world through international trade and cyber-security.
