Geoff joins Bluesky following an extensive career at Queen’s Park in Toronto, serving as a key political advisor to senior provincial ministers at Finance, Community Safety and Labour. Having years of hands-on experience with cabinet, caucus and opposition members, legislative and cabinet committees, executive and front-line political staff, and a host of senior public servants, media, influencers and stakeholders – Geoff brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding about the politics, policy, communications and decision-making processes at work inside and around government.
In his past policy and stakeholder relations roles, Geoff has been tapped as a trusted advisor and agent for ministers on challenging issues, such as: cannabis legalization, the beverage alcohol system and retail modernization, healthcare and social service funding and priorities, First Nation policing reform, fire services and emergency management, TO2015 PanAm Games security, workplace safety, labour tribunals, minimum wage review, and more. Geoff also served as an Executive Assistant to one of Ontario’s most active MPPs, and all told has been involved in the development and passage of over ten pieces of provincial legislation during his career.
